Our Vision
Impacting the world with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, Equipping the Saints, touching the world with God's healing and saving power, by applying the word of God thus revealing His purpose in our lives changing and making disciples of all nations demonstrating to this generation that Jesus is the Son of God.
OUR HISTORY
New Life Christian Center with 6 people present held its first service on June 25, 1995 at Martin Luther King Park in Auburn, Alabama. Soon after, services were moved to the home of our Pastors. The Lord continually and faithfully blessed this ministry. On March 10, 1996 service was held in a rented facility on Frederick Road in Opelika, Alabama. During the following four years, God continually prospered the ministry. In August of 2000, the ministry purchased 10 acres of property conveniently located near Interstate 85, Exit 64. In September of 2000 the ministry moved to another rented facility on Columbus Parkway. In December 2002 the purchased property was cleared and construction began in January of 2003. On August 16, 2003, Pastor and Cheryl were joined by several members of the congregation along with friends as we took our victory walk of 3.7 miles from Columbus Parkway to our new location. On Sunday, August 17, 2003 the first service was held in the new sanctuary located at 2051 West Point Parkway. To God be the Glory!!
WHAT WE BELIEVE
God
We believe in the triune God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1-3, 26; I John 5:7
Jesus
We believe in that healing is provided for every believer, through Jesus work on Calvary. Isaiah 53:4-5; I Peter 2:24
We believe the Church is made up of those who have received Jesus as their personal savior. Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:24
We believe in Jesus Christ is true God and true man. John 10:30; Matthew 1:1
Holy Spirit
We believe it is God's will for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8; John 14:16-17, 26
Bible
We believe in the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 2:20-21
Salvation
We believe that Salvation is only through Jesus Christ and is available to all men. John 14:6; Acts 4:12
Everyone born into the earth realm is in need of Salvation. John 3:3; Romans 3:10-12, 23
Baptism/Communion
We believe in water baptism and the observance of the Lord's Supper. Matthew 28:19; Matthew 26:26-29
