Our mandate is to “Equip the Saints”. Every believer must be equipped and fully prepared through the word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This will cause us to do the work of the ministry. Every person that has been changed by God has been empowered to change others which will enable others to live transformed lives, making a difference and affecting a generation for life.

Auzzie L. Comer, III is Senior Pastor and founder of New Life Christian Center. In June 1995 God positioned him as Pastor of New Life Christian Center. From the moment of his calling, Apostle Comer's desire has been to fulfill God's purpose on his life, by equipping the saints, preparing them for ministry. Apostle's focus has been teaching and preaching the word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit to bring revelation, knowledge, and wisdom of God's Holy plan. Apostle Comer believes his destiny is not only to preach salvation, but also to introduce healing and deliverance under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is steadfastly empowering Apostle Comer and N.L.C.C. to impact the world with the Gospel; to bring healing and saving grace. Apostle's objective is pursuing God's mandate concerning New Life Christian Center, a man with purpose and vision called to see lives transformed. Apostle Comer was married to Cheryl D. Comer who diligently worked alongside him in ministry until her transition.
Prophet, Cheryl Comer

Pastor Cheryl was a powerful woman of God who loved the Lord and gave HIM all the glory, honor, and praise. She was committed and submitted to the leadership of her husband, Auzzie Comer, Senior Pastor. She served alongside him as they fulfilled God’s mandate to “Equip the Saints.” Pastor Cheryl was the founder and visionary of Cheryl Comer Ministries (CCM), which focused on propelling the people of God to be all that He had pre-ordained them to be. Although the focus of CCM was for women, her anointing went beyond gender, and the Lord used her as a vessel to minister to the body of Christ. Pastor Cheryl’s strong prophetic anointing and ministry of healing caused her to go out in both spiritual and secular settings as a conference speaker, panelist, and minister of the gospel. In 1997, after being divinely healed by God of cancer, her testimony was documented in the October 2002 issue of Spirit Led Woman National Magazine. After moving to Opelika in 2000, the Lord mandated that she write a book that would testify of HIS healing power. Walking by faith and not by sight, the testimony was first released on CD in October 2009. In May 2010, she fulfilled the mandate from the Lord, and her book “We Walked Away” was released. Pastor Cheryl transitioned on May 24, 2024, her legacy will continue on.
Pastor, Tyrone White
Assistant Pastor
At age 15, Pastor Tyrone White began a remarkable journey by welcoming Christ into his life. He currently works as a Center Supervisor at the Opelika SportsPlex, where he spreads God's message and shows love through his smile. Pastor Tyrone is a former veteran of the US Marine Corps and Auburn Police Department. He has been married to Missionary Joye White for 35 years, and they both serve in ministry. Pastor White enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, his true passion lies in sharing God's word with simplicity and conviction, guiding others on the path to faith. He teaches senior group fitness classes to learn from their life experiences and empowers the youth to seek a profound relationship with God. He believes in following Jeremiah 1:5's divine plan and sanctification.
